Gary Linekar (and Probably the other BBC pundits still in Moscow) are going to the match tonight. Does anyone know far far the stadium is to the studio for the Highlights? If it goes to Penalties there only be an hour for them to get back?
No doubt there's some behind the scenes documentary being filmed around it too.
Bit of a view of the ITV studio without the effects:
ITV rehearsals have started and the countdown has really begun. It all begins here with @markpougatch at 6pm - pundit Slaven Bilic has opted to watch the game at the stadium #ENGCROpic.twitter.com/JozmukvDIr

And sober up. Either way no chance they'll be able to keep a straight face for the intro, though they could do the HLs from the stadium, filming the intro beforehand.
Do the stadiums not have studio boxes available to the home broadcasters of the countries?
I would have thought it would be better to anchor from the stadium at this stage.
You would think they'd have them available to the teams in the matches - indeed for UEFA tournaments for the bigger stadia think they have to have a minimum of 4.
Even if they could only be pitchside as they are now that would improve things. Jacqui and Gabby got the best gigs out there if you're after a pitchside seat.

Doing the whole thing pitchside might be a bit scrappy though. They’ve got an hour of build up, and you can tell Jacqui and the guys could barely hear each other just then.
I wonder if they do have stadium studios available, and if they do can the hold 5 people without them sitting on each other’s laps
