I suspect that both broadcasters will be looking at the Weather Forecast when selecting matches. If this hot spell continues ITV might be tempted, for advertising revenue reasons, to go for less attractive Evening matches rather than nominally better games kicking off mid afternoon, even at the weekend.

Although it is so hot a mid-afternoon match is a welcome excuse to stay inside.
Much depends on how the lower picks fall - I assume they have 4 each so anyone know the other two picks?

I’m guessing in ITV’s eyes, the knock out stages goes
1. England
2. Any other 7pm game chosen on merit
3. Sunday at 3pm
4. Saturday at 3pm
5. Weekdays at 3pm regardless of how big the teams are
There is also other bits, like would both broadcasters prefer one game per day rather than taking two or none.

Would they always have a credit roll at the end of the group stages? I can see them not wanting to run it tomorrow to try to keep the audience for Good Evening Britain.
Yes and I agree probably yes

Anyway they've clearly decided it is all over now Germany are out as they're running full credits.
Yes and I agree probably yes

That seems likely with ITV's advantage in this round taking 3 out of the 4 evening kick offs. Obviously in the quarters the BBC get first 2 picks.

I assume ITV will be scheduling something easily droppable inbetween the two Monday games.

Well there are only two afternoons and it’s likely both channels will get one each so...
I’m still thinking Wimbledon will be a tad overshadowed this year, especially if Murray goes out early and even more so if England progress past the Round of 16

It also leaves Wimbledon relatively unscathed too, at this stage.
