DS reports others losing it at the same time.

Yep same happened for me, and unlike the other (brief) periods of buffering I’ve had it didn’t resolve itself and reselecting the stream it wouldn’t restart. Managed to get it back after a couple of minutes watching the standard HD stream.

Looks like the Scoreboard went wrong at least in Germany.

In the last 20 minutes of RTÉ's coverage tonight; I heard a small bang within their sports studio. Darragh Maloney explained to viewers that a lightbulb 'exploded' while Eamon Dunphy was giving his analysis of Brazil v Switzerland & having a chuckle with the rest of the lads at the studios in Dublin.

How long have RTÉ had that desk now?
I'm nearly sure it's 2010 at least.

On the presentation matter I can't imagine that's how the Ten O'Clock News would be announcing it (I suspect they would not use football world cup) even if they did call Huw in for a Sunday broadcast.

He's doing the Huw though, so that's accurate at least.

Quadrature reassembly error on BBC UHD at HT in Belgium - Panama, feed stopped with just Black Screen, returned TL, BL and TR quadrats ok and stable. BR compressed and out of sync. Allowed to run for 2-3 minutes, then feed stopped completely and restarted OK.

Sounds from what I’ve read UHD HDR isn’t quite ready for primetime online distribution.

Some of the replays in slowmo are very blurry, it's like they are slowing a 25i picture almost!

Do other countries not anchor their matches from the stadia either. Odd really to fly out all your team to the host country and anchor hundreds of miles away from the action whilst a B-team is on site
