The set was also nominated for a Sports Emmy. Well done to ClickSpring.

For me it would have gone to TV 2's set.

Nominated among U.S. network sets, I guess.

NBC's set looks like the spitting image of Good Morning Britain's set!

There are similar elements. GMB won for best international set. All broadcasters and fans were invited to be shortlisted in the competitions.

I suspect we might see the spitting image of Good Morning Britain's set on Newzoids in the near future.

NBC Recently released its first full length trailer for the 2016 RIO Games. Begins with the John Williams famous NBC Olympic Theme but then quickly transitions to a Samba drumming theme with past shots of games coverage.

NBC, recently splashed out US$7.75bn for exclusive broadcast rights to the Olympics until 2032.

NBC has leaked pictures of the RIO 2016 Studio.
Looks vastly different from anything in the past. Very simple and curvy and white.

Hope it looks better on screen than in the renders.

It's an NBC Olympics set, I wouldn't hold your expectations too high.

Right..
Anyway, Looks as though NBC's previous award winning set design will be something different this year. It will be interesting to see it on air. Seeing as NBC doesnt always do the same set every year, (i.e. glass wall and backlit desk with a logo slapped on it. ) this will be nice to see a change in creative direction. I suspect naturally the physical set will look different to the "renders".
