Hello

First of all, Happy new year.

2014 will see the start of many of the new "channel 6" licences. I'm starting this thread so we can discuss what the channels will be like.

I live in South Yorkshire so my station will be SLTV. Will they be the saviour of local tv or will they be another BSB?

Why not start a thread for SLTV and then other people can start threads for their local channels as and when needed? There is already a generic thread for local channels.

If you want a new thread, start one. It's quite simple. The only criteria is having something to say on a subject not already covered by an existing thread.

If someone's got something to say about them, then fair enough. Threads aren't needed before someone has something to say.

EDIT: David beat me to it.

No.

Based on my local TV, Estuary, the answer to that is no. It is not an uprising. The budget is not there -will only cause mild interest which will last a couple of days.

Estuary TV is "bloody appalling" and a waste of bandwidth.
