Haven't heard an awful lot of talk about this, but the BBC will be broadcasting a mix of live coverage and highlights from the Invictus Games at the Olympic Park next month . . . a competition conceived by Prince Harry involving wounded and injured former servicemen and women.

It'll be interesting to see how this is received. The press release doesn't give too much information about the TV presentation aspect, but the fact that its getting live BBC One and BBC Two coverage on the Saturday and Sunday certainly suggests a decent level of commitment.
Also curious as to whether this will receive the 'BBC Sport' treatment or whether it'll be more of a light-entertainment format.

I've heard talk of other broadcasters covering it - the website says that there are competitors from 14 nations, which might suggest there'll be a host feed which the BBC and others will wrap around.

Some of the indoor events will be taking place in the former International Broadcast Centre (now known as Here East) - which is quite handy for fibre connectivity to the outside world.

Simple nice set being used by the BBC for the Invictus Games - is that a temporary studio or just a room with a view?

Temporary studio close to The Copper Box. Very nice curved window backdrop. Looks to be very similar (if not the same) as the studio used for The State Opening of Parliament.

And quite a lot of other events are taking place at London 2012 venues, which may also have fibre connectivity.
