So C4 tonight showing athletics - Jonnie Peacock and Oscar Pistorious in the 100m heats, during C4 News itself on C4 SD while More4/C4 HD sticks with swimming at 7pm, though will probably show the 100m heats later in the evening.
I do wish though they'd used More4 from 7-9pm each night for the swimming and C4 focused on the athletics when it returns at 7.30pm.
A great half hour of live sport with David Weir and Jonnie Peacock - only Super Saturday from the Olympics really rivals it, and even then I don't think Mo and Jess got the reaction Jonnie did tonight.
C4 obviously expecting decent ratings too - they got three ad breaks in between 9pm and 9.15pm, though interesting that most of the ads are from arguably more premium advertisers.
Jonnie Peacock's 100m win at the Paralympics was watched by more than 6 million viewers on Thursday night, Channel 4's most popular sporting action of the London Games to date.
Channel 4's evening Paralympics programme averaged 3.5 million viewers, a 16.7% share, between 7.30pm and 10.30pm on Thursday. It had a 15-minute peak of 5.8 million between 9.15pm and 9.30pm and a 5-minute peak of 6.3 million as 19-year-old Peacock won in 10.9 seconds – the second-fastest time in history behind his own world record. South African Oscar Pistorius finished in fourth place.
It was Channel 4's most-watched live action of the Games, and the broadcaster's biggest Paralympics audience since the opening ceremony, which had an average of 7.6 million viewers (40%) and a 15-minute peak of 10.9 million.
