Do we know anything about C4's studio arrangements for the games? I assume they'll be in the IBC somewhere rather than have their own pod like the BBC.

It would be nice if they could use one of the BBC's studios.

If the BBC had been within the IBC perhaps they might have done, but it will actually be nice to see the games presented from a slightly different angle. In theory they could also take one of ITN's positions I suppose - presumably C4 News will get to use one of their studios.

They're going quite big with this promo, as well as going out in the 9pm junction on Channel 4, they've also booked ads in the same slots on ITV1, Channel 5 and some Sky channels.

Did I say "some Sky channels"? Turns out it'll be airing on a total of 78 channels tonight!

I guess then apart from the Sky channels they'll be around the 70 mark with the +1 versions at 10pm.

C4 press office are telling people to watch "from 8:50", so I don't think they're expecting a perfect simulcast!

When was the last time we had a broadcast like this across so many channels? The re-hashed Live Aid/Live 8 song from a few years ago perhaps?

The BBC's 2008 Olympic promo was simulcast across many BBC channels at the same time.

That would be six channels at most though.

Just saw the C4 Paralympic promo on Dave.

The trailer is quite good, solid idea behind it and we can't say Channel 4 are hiding the games away. I hope it does very well for them.

I saw it on...

ITV3 (at about 20:53.)
ITV4 (at about 20:55.)
Sky Two (at about 20:57.)
Sky Living (at about 20:57.)
Channel 5 (at about 20:57.)
Sky One (at about 20:58.)
Watch (at about 20:58.)
Gold (at about 20:58.)
Dave (at about 20:58.)
Syfy (at about 20:59.)
and Channel 4 (at about 21:00.)

I say I saw it, the truth is, I was too busy changing channel at the time. I'll watch it once VirginMedia Phil uploads his capture.
