The issue with that second idea is I very much doubt that the studio on top of shipping crates idea would be very accessible for the considerable number of guest with limited mobility who are likely to contribute. If you're going to build a studio at ground level the view will be so poor you might as well not bother and go with the IBC.
I may be wrong but I believe the BBC studio, even though it was built on shipping containers, did have a lift.
It must have done as Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson was up there, I can't imagine it was a very big one though.

I enjoyed Arthur Williams contributions this afternoon, Georgie Bingham on the otherhand was lost several times.

I thought the same watching the Breakfast Show this morning.
Only caught a glimpse but it looks to me like the gaffered diamond has been replaced with the correct shape.

I'd be very surprised if Arthur Williams and Daraine Mulvihill, didn't gain mainstream TV roles. Perhaps something on The One Show to start off with?
It's amazing how well the disabled talent search has worked for Channel 4 and how quickly those two in particular have took to live TV. Channel 4 should be commended for their efforts.
