Thanks for that, you are indeed correct that pressing the blue button hides the press red on Virgin Media.
It's blue *I think* on Virgin Media, possibly one of the other colour buttons.
There doesn't seem to be a red button menu on Freesat at the moment.

The studio centrepiece glass table is going to take some cleaning between programmes to keep it looking pristine.

I was slightly disappointed with the coverage last night. The pres team just didn't work well together, I know Jon Snow can create some awkward silences it seems, but there were 3 strong personalities in the studio and it was unclear who should talk when at times.
At the end, they put a promo up and it seemed that Jonathan and Ade were promo-ing their own shows, in a very disjointed way.
The decision to jump away from Krishnan to the studio for commentary half way through was strange, particularly as Jon interrupted some of Jonathan's comments to tell us how war torn each of the countries are!
So the production left a lot to be desired, and although the studio is impressive, it's a strange decision to not have the Olympic park in the background. They may as well be in Horseferry Road! For me, the studio seems stale without the visible throng of the spectators moving about the park in the background.
Graphics were brilliant however - very impressed with them, together with the opening sequence which is flawless, if not a little unimaginative.
OBS's graphics last night seems a little strange. I assume they won't maintain that size? Also, Gill Sans? Seems also that someone decided to plonk on a Smoke plugin from Viz Artist on the end of the lower third, they changed very little about it apart from adding the image of the nations flag to it.
The Smoke plug-in on Viz Artist can be used to create clouds, fire, rain, snow etc if used correctly. When you first drag it into your scene, it generates cubes - and that's what we have on the OBS gfx!

A secondary set for the afternoon show, a lower table and armchairs instead of the more formal set used this morning.

Was also used for the breakfast show.

In that case, I wonder if they're alternating sets between shifts? This soft set will probably be used for The Last Leg too.

Anyone else feeling 'distant' from the games with this coverage? The lack of apparent proximity of the studio teams to the Games itself is an underlying issue for me.
The presenters so far are superb, loved the wheelchair racer item, including the 'useless legs' chat.

For anyone else wondering, like me, about which graphics are in use, it's the same OBS ones, with the logo's swapped.

I imagine it was there as Deal Or No Deal was due to be shown but has now been shunted to More4 - so guess its related to that
Was that a Product Placement 'P' there? What's being placed if that is the case?
