So still upscaled SD feed. I'd like to know the explanation as to why the HD feed returned to disappear again.
I suppose we'll see how a new CEO deals with this. At least the problem wasn't on SD as well.
Could the reason for continued upscaling be that they don't want to risk it?
Either way it was bad timing.

So like Micheal Grade do you think were get Adam Crozier saying " if we find it was caused by human error, were be showing them the red card!
At least it was only HD though. It's going to be bad enough just for HD, i couldn't imagine the abuse there'd get it it was SD too!

The HD feed seemed to be a having a few issues (unrelated to the sponsorship bumper) - there was some nasty frame dropping/repetition that meant movement juddered on occasion.
Wonder if ITV1 HD is taking an SD feed from South Africa and upconverting, or if ITV1 HD's playout operation has been bypassed entirely, and is now taking an ITV1 SD feed and upconverting it (pres and all)
Did the last break have any ITV1 HD branding?
