Okay this isn't directly to do with how BBC/ITV are presenting the World Cup, but it's still connected with World Cup 2010.

Does anyone know where I can obtain an official World Cup 2010 T-shirt with the official South Africa 2010 logo on? I managed to get one for France 98 back in 1998, and two for Korea-Japan 2002 in 2002 (I've still got them all), but couldn't get one for the 2006 tournament. T-shirts bearing the South Africa 2010 logo must be available, where can I get one?

The Abuse they are going to get for the Freeview SD PQ is going to be enormous too.

Not like any attention has been paid to it by ITV, because it's always looked incredibly mushy on Freeview and quite frankly I'm surprised they get away with it in terms of technical quality. The same "effects" were visible during the busier acts on Britain's Got Talent last week and we go through this charade of mushy pictures every time ITV1 shows football (or not at the case may be, since they're quite good at screwing it up).

And to add insult to injury there was the really, really, really awful James Corden thing on afterwards...

I didn't think it was too bad. Lighthearted and no too serious!

I'm not sure which was worse, ITV HD's colossal **** up (again) or the pundit's horrific commentary. Kevin Keegan claiming "it was a very very good performance". Rolling Eyes

ITV should have their live football coverage rights taken away from them, as punishment for this latest dreadful error. On July 12th I shall be watching the final on BBC 1 as usual, and if England get to the semi-final stage then I shall like most people watch BBC 1. ITV's football coverage is like watching paint dry.

The problem with errors like today's is that many people will think the sane way, even though in my view the ITV Footage is superior this year content & presentation wise.

What a joke, that was a good performance, against the big teams they'll get caught out!

It's worth pointing out that the error during last year's Derby was during extra time, so the 'automated break' kicked in when it was supposed to if the game ended on time. To cut less than five minutes into a match makes it more inexplicable.

Exactly. With the hype around Adrian Chiles they had a chance this year to not be the poor relation to the BBC, but one mistake has ruined all that now.

Of course it shouldn't happen, but mistakes do - just ironic they seem to have a knack of doing it when people score.

ITV should stick to filming Simon Cowell insulting *******. All they're good at and interested in.
