Nearly a third of the year has passed now and we have had a good array of programmes, as well as some innovative presentation shown to us.

My favourite programmes of the year so far include Casanova, a classic that has been modified, as well as a few dramas from C4. These include No Angels and Desperate Housewives. I was disappointed however when C4 decided to axe Teachers.

On the presentation side, I believe C4 have been very innovative with their idents and I also like the new ITV Day idents. ITV1 I now got a lot to catch up on if you ask me.

As well as Eurovision in May, I am looking forward to ITV4/More4/E4 coming to Freeview in the near future.

What have your highlights of 2005 been so far and what are you looking forward to in the near future (Programmes & Presentation)?

The return of Dr Who.

And the new C4 idents are great, but those were introduced december last year. Wink

Hopefully MoM are getting titles in July! I don't know what idents to look forward to though.

What the Ancients Did For Us - Adam Hart Davis and Marty Jopson make a great pairing on screen....

Look Around You.....

....and of course Paramount Comedy getting the missing Series of Seinfeld back on the air after 2 years! Very Happy

The Apprentice on BBC Two and Desperate Housewives on 4. Wednesdays won't be the same when their current series finish!

As well as Look Around You, and of course the return of Dr Who. I also got into Arrested Development - which is genius.

The new C4 idents were launched on New Year's Eve. People complained when I included them in a poll for best idents in 2004 because they were broadcast the day before 2005. I can't win can I really.

Look Around You, The Two Ronnie's Comedy Sketch Book, Doctor Who, Casanova and Hustle have all brought great pleasure to me this year.

For me, TV highlights of the year so far are Look Around You and Vicky Pollard on Trisha on Comic Relief. Presentation-wise, it has to be the new Channel 4 idents (although that's technically last year!) and the new BBC News 24 countdown.
