ITV1 has a jubilee ident in a simular fashion to the Brit Award ones. Although there is NO regional branding for Carlton regions this time, the HTV announcer makes a point of saying "Celebrating the jubilee on HTV - ITV1 in Wales" What is UTV ...

This might have just happened on LWT @ about 9.05pm today (2/06/2002) on LWT instead of showing the LWT ident they showed a giant ITV 1 logo on a blue background.

What will happen to BBCi Sports Channels after World Cup?

Does anyone know what will happen to the new BBC Interactive Sports channels on Digital Television and Digital Satellite after The World Cup and Wimbledon Tennis? Will there be Trailers for BBCi, A Caption for BBCi and 1kHz Tone , Test Card and Music, Ceefax and Music or even a Blank Screen.

So BBC World now has the new look (News 24 style) style astons. Although tather than the bright red of News 24 they are a deeper red colour - more like the general World red.

I see the Beeb are using the regional BBCi system on digital satellite to show the 5 normal BBCi regions Jubilee 2002 opts. Pity they haven't updated the menu text that appears when you select a region - it still says "Look North", "South Today...

Is this accurate / allowed? I thought the concert ran till at least 10.30-10.45pm. Anyone know what the situation with rights is, BBC have exclusive UK rights to everything *inside* the palace, but the fireworks display is outside so anyone ...

One of the jobs i want to do when i grow up is being a TV director. Directing a live programme like RI:SE, and i wonderd if there was any internet programms that could help me practice, like a programme that runs a film and you can change to other cameras.

Am I the only one who finds the ITV1 Jubilee programme complete with BBC Party at the Palace musical backing slightly comical? ITN seem to be trying to stage a serious pre-amble to fireworks, discussing the monarchy's role etc.
