Why your sense of humour seems to have been surgically removed, Tumble Dryer, I just don't know.
It's called autism.
That was below the belt.
Mods?
No it wasn't, you prude moron.
FYI I'm gaspies and find it hilarious that people see one tenth of that condition in Tumble Dryer. I expect he's more OCD
Knowing a few people with Autistic Spectrum disorders including myself, I can say there are many differences between autistic people, I believe Tumble has it mainly how he recalls dates and how jokes and sarcastic comments seem to go over his head.

He can recall dates and times very well, it seems, after a certain PM from him concerning his weekend in Swansea detailing the exact date and time of everything he did including the weather.
I'm very impressed. Now those channel codes have disappeared he's started to become a lot less annoying. This pleases me.

Apologies if you found me patronising but as we would not tolerate racist or homophobic bullying here it is only right that courtesy extends to users with Asperger's, OCD or whatever. If people can laugh at themselves, all well and good!
Getting back on topic, I started this thread to commiserate the passing of schools programmes on ITV. Yesterday (Friday) marked the 20th anniversary of ITV Schools' move to Channel 4, and the first official sighting of the design classic known as the "rotomotion"...
I've just out Wiki to see what happened 20 years ago today (22 September 1987). For your information, it happened to be a Tuesday.
Thomas Andrew Felton, English film and television actor, was born. He played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films.
American comedian Dan Rowan died.
As for me, well it was just another Tuesday at school as far as I was concerned. I was in the fifth form (now known as year 11) at secondary school. I've long forgotten what my timetable was for a Tuesday in that academic year, all I do remember is we had a 40-minute PE lesson immediately after the lunch break (lesson time approx 13:55 to 14:35).

I said that Thomas Felton, English film and

actor, was born. That's connected with television, is it not?
For completeness I felt it worthwhile to say a little about what happened to me that day, to complement what I'd said about the birth of one famous person and death of another famous person on 22 Sep 1987.
