I've just got back from a lovely 20 days away, and now on my return, have a lot of catching up to do.

One of the main things of course is what this site is all about. The world of television. The thought of sifting through every thread over the past 20 days seems a little laborious, and the excellent News section has only major television information, meaning more subtle things from threads are missed.

So, your challenge is to fill me in. What has been discussed (TV related) in the past 20 days. Feel free to expand on things mentioned/missed by other members.

BBC ONE ident Acrobats disappeared because at the time we thought one of the performers died....then we think we found out its a performers friend....then we heard it was only temporary.....and then it came back the next day. Now, apparently it was back in circulation after, ooh, maybe 20 hours being away from it Razz

Thanks for that. I was rather confused about the whole afair.

Surely there has to be some other gossip too? Any news on the new BBC Network News titles and News 24 re-launch?

News 24's being taken off the air for five years in February because of a new government ruling.

Carlton and Granada have finally taken the plunge and will merge. There are rumours from some members that ITV will change name - but no confirmation on that yet.

Fox News will change it's name to Sky News America mid 2003.

Time? Or don't we want to get Luxton on to a 'it should be after the water-shead' rant.

Not sure about that one. Don't tell Luxton for gawd's sake. Testcards galore.
