I did watch the 25 Years Of The Two Ronnies shows about 10 years ago. It had the Charley Farley and Piggy Malone sketches! Laughing

Thank god most of it was "vintage". The new stuff was embarrassing - even more cringe worthy then Brucie on Strictly Come Dancing

Why do you thiunk it was originally part of BBC1's christmas line-up... but is now going out aound Easter time?

Well I certainly enjoyed it. It was great to see the swearbox and optician sketches again. The Two Ronnies have always made me laugh....which is more than a lot of the stuff that's around nowadays does.

Yes, it might have been an excuse for a load of repeats, but I'll bet it made a lot of people laugh. Laughing

It's amazing that by just one year older, Ronnie Barker looks terribly older than Ronnie Corbett!

Not THIS oldy; I avoided it like the plague.

I watched Jamie's School Dinners off tape to fill the hour between Gardeners' World and Grumpy Old Women.

I HATE GRUMPY OLD WOMEN!! It's a crappy version of the far superior Grumpy Old Men. But if the makers think that some of their ages can be classed as old then at 33 I'm for the scrapheap!! Shocked

Can't stand Gardener's World either, television for saddos!!

Simple truth, 'the old ones were better'

Well I think this proves that's there's an audience out there for The Two Ronnies!! I enjoyed it and judging by the viewing figures I wasn't alone.

8 million, fantastic stuff, I wonder how many will tune into Doctor Who this coming Saturday?

It's will definately be a good month for BBC1!

the bbc could do with a boost.

strictly dance fever is up against stars in their eyes live final, so the audience will be split

See now I am not sure the public are ready for yet another Dance programme. I really think they should give Graham Norton to do a revamped Generation Game.
