1997. I think BBC One balloon. I hope they modify the balloon and the 1997 2s. That would be nice.

If you're talking about them being used as idents into the programmes, I don't think that's even remotely likely. Just incredibly wishful thinking.

Honestly, I feel we won't see any BBC idents from the 90's or 2000 being used to introduce programmes again, ever. It's a shame, but that's what I believe will be the case.

The only exception would be if in 30 or more years time, there's some major 90's based programme in primietime on BBC 1 or 2, and an old ident is used to introduce it for nostalgia - much like Life On Mars' BBC 1 airings currently, albeit they use a recreation.

No, they still have the idents in their archives.

Haha, this sounds brilliant and diverse - as BBC Four often is. Wonder if it will be like that TV on Trial week they did in 2004?

1997 - the birth of the weekly docusoap. I remember The Cruise, which made famous Jane McDonald, Airport with Jeremy Spake and of course Driving School. To think it was actually unmissable TV back then. (well for me anyway!). It will be good to see Hotel again, even though it was repeated on Sky Travel just before it left Freeview.

A bit bizarre showing Teletubbies but ...'eh 'oh...

Are a bunch of adults really going to sit and watch a whole episode of The Teletubbies?

Bizzare but 'citing

Probably no chance of them broadcasting the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest, the UK wins with 227 points. A record under the previous format!

Ah, thanks very much. I don't think it would bring back many memories, (I used to watch teletubbies.) , isn't it just the same episode repeated every week? Laughing
