18 - The Planet's Funniest Animals
Surely the worst excuse ever for a filler programme. Whoever bought this, on the premise that it was funny, needs shot!
17 - Just For Laughs
The latest incarnation of an idea - namely playing pranks on the public - which first saw the light of day over 20 years ago, first with Game for a Laugh, then with Beadle's About. Except that, back then, the idea was funny....! Clearly its use of a "laughter" track is to convince viewers that the idea still is funny.
16 - Surprise Party
One of Carlton's first (and instantly forgettable) network offerings. The fact that only one show was aired says it all really.

Well, I like this show - fills a slot on the BBC anyhow. I think ITV lost out when Beadle's About/Game For A Laugh finished. Its now all 'Celebrity' garbage!

15 TFI Friday Chris Evans' show was such laddish especialy when Shaun Murphy appeared in the early shows when he said f**k a few times.
14 Any programme presented by Fred Dinage (Is that how you spell his name), I thought Fred was too "David Dickinson" type. Sad when he died but his programmes were not too great

Have I completely missed something? Fred's alive and well isn't he?
Fred Dinenage is still alive and well, but Fred Dibnah (whom I'm sure he actually means) recently passed away after losing his battle with cancer.
Somebody said recently that Fred Dinenage has been removed from Meridian Today/Tonight for the duration of the election campaign because he publicly backed his daughter as a candidate in a handwritten letter
