There will be 100 Greatest Nostalgia Shows before we know it! Jimmy Carr, Stuart Maconie, Justin Lee-Collins and Graham Norton battling it out

Top Cat at 64?! Well THAT completely discredits the whole thing!

Problem with this paticular "Top 100" show is one could have accurately predicted the number 1 before it even started - totally irradicating all the suspense that this sort of show usually builds.

I watched the first hour or so before going out, and just as I was switching the TV off I noticed a terrible instance of apostrophe abuse - something like:

something something something in it's 30 year run

You'd think the person generating the captions would know better!

Jimmy Carr made a good joke about the obviousness of the result in the show. "So, if you're sitting there, wondering in anticipation about what's going to be number 1, well...you're an idiot.".

Homer Simpson also was the number 1 'Greatest TV Character' in about 2002.
