That's my ideal thing - to have Look North Hull vans park outside my house. I'd have the tea and cakes ready in five minutes!

At least this confirms, if there was still any doubt, that Calendar South is read from Leeds

This is my biggest grip about Calendar really, the lack of consistency in the sub-opt regions. The presenter allocation seems totally random, if they actually allocated a regular person to each region, perhaps the audience could relate to them a bit better.

Also, what has happened to the late night bulletin ? It seems to have become the domain of Gaynor Barnes, and the other week it was Michelle Gee. What happened to Frazer Maude, Fay Barker, Yunus Muller ? At least there is consistency at the weekend, this seems to be Jason McCartney's permanent home.

Although they do have the bonus that they have quite a large number of the faces are well known.

Well with non-news regional programming being cut back they probably need to find something for Gaynor to do, and this is it. Faye's probably on holiday and Frazer seems to like reporting thesedays
Michelle Gee is all over the place, she seemed to take over from Karen Petch as the regular on Calendar East but lately did a week on the late news and this week is on the GMTV bulletins. There seems to be an increase in reporters doing more presenting and presenters doing more reporting
