I think such contacts at the museum will already have a stream of enquiries from students at Bradford Uni - they use the museum's facilities for their media courses
Putting Ana to one side... We have read back and the person who seems to be spot on accurate with everything he posts is Museumman. Either he is brilliant at guessing (lottery numbers please?) or he really is in the know.
Which museum are you the man of?
I am afraid I don't work in a museum - just a silly name. I do though have one or two close friends who work for the BBC - they are very well connected and generally get things right when it comes to gossip!. Incidentally, the Paul Hudson defection story is bollocks.
I'm hoping to visit the museum next time I stay with my brother and sister-in-law (who live in Morley). Maybe I'll get a few more contacts who will help me on my way up the career ladder!
Yes that bottom rung can't be too far away now can it. I can't wait to hear your replies when/if Paul Hudson moves to YTV. Try thisissheffield.net for information.

I can hear your torrential saliva dripping from here, mate! I am in a good mood tonight as it's snowing and I can't be bothered to engage in verbal warfare with you.
Suffice to say I am resigned for the worst and buoyant at present. Sorry if that rains or indeed snows on your parade a bit....
I just tried your link, but I got an 'under construction' message. Thinking you might have your endings wrong I tried .co.uk and .com too but both of those returned 'the Page Cannot Be Displayed'.
Just ran a search on Sheffield Today's website for 'Paul Hudson' in the News section searching for all stories with that exact phrase in it from this month, powered by the Sheffield Star, and got the following:

I think you will find no matter what you search for you get a similar result

That's because the website only features a few top stories each day. "xxx Today" sites generally are a bit poor, unlike "this is xx" or "ic xxxx" which feature more stories.
But sirely if it's powered by the Sheffield star newspaper, and it's a story concerning a popular local personality, it would be a sufficiently big enough story to report on the site?

Just because there's only one presenter, it doesn't mean you shouldn't lose a whole region! The content of the programme is largely unchanged apart from the links into and out of reports.
There's still a large team of journalists and support staff behind the camera, one presenter's salery shouldn't impact largely on the production...
I'd rather lose the region than have a single presenter, I agree that it just doesn't look or feel right. I KNOW the news hasn't chnaged, but I'm not enjoying watching it any more! I find the show dry as dust with only Peter, it's the ladies that have the personalily round here, and that's not a sexist comment, just in this case, in my opinion, Peter is serious so the ladies make it 'interesting' rather than just news.
I don't want to lose the local region, and I'm sure we won't looking at the size of that building and the investment put into it, but we CANNOT leave Peter in there alone for much longer.
Does anyone have viewing figures? Has Helen's departure started to effect anything either way?
They were trying more new camera angles on tonight's Calendar. Especially that bit where they were talking about the snow. There was a high camera looking down on Duncan who was stood behind the chairs by the big screen.
