So in the week where Calendar returns to being a proper double header Peter Levy was flying solo on Look North Hull tonight, with no explanation offered, other than references to him being "Billy no mates" tonight

Indeed the headlines were the type seen on other regions tonight. Also the Calendar logo on the screen moved from bottom right to top right!

Shame really, perhaps it was too complicated to create the fancy ones we saw yesterday every day... I don't like their font though!

Jo Blythe was doing the late weather for Tyne Tees - it's astonishing how mundane the forecasts are compared to Bob. To start with, both Jo and Kerrie seem to spend more time on the continent's weather than the regional... and there's no sign of place names either. They could at least put the weather village in the first frame. And the style is so boring - no high tide, no events, totally predictable - the sort of thing which makes Paul Mooney on NE&C with his raining turkey weather in Australia feature bearable. I don't know how YTV viewers can put up with the ex-GMG North Team - I'd not watch Tyne Tees again if they didn't get a dedicated Newcastle forecaster in after Bob retires.

I like all their forecasters and they have other regions to do as well as Tyne Tees.
