There must be some method of the local studio indicating that it is ready to go on air? There would be far too many cock up scenarios otherwise

That's a perfect fit for submission to 'Accidental Partridge'

Oh wow - just found the article. Didn't realise it was a video tour!

"Kitchen, complete with bin bag... hanging on the units."

This is liquid Levy.

I feel a bit sorry for him really after watching that, outside of Look North he seems to have a bit of a sheltered life

Not sure a "sheltered life" but I suspect he is a rather shy and personal man. No airs and graces.

Anyway, as much as the programme can be so formulaic and predictable it is clearly successful at what it does and so it's hard to argue against that. Although the responses may well be as preDictable! Actually the live OB every week at the moment allows them to really get into the patch further. Good effort for doing that.

He's easy to take the Mickey out of is Uncle Peter but you can't knock his success with the audience.

I'd just rather Look North 'Ull was more news than film flam.

I'm surprised that the BBC has allowed this to go out. Its all rather sad and tacky.

If anybody wants to post a tour of their home on the internet, I don't think their employer can prevent that !?

If anything, it might have benefitted them in this case! TV channels love having presenters who seem ordinary and down to earth.
