Sorry to ask this but still don't slightly understand ~ Where are the Sub-opt Studios actually based? Are they are in Leeds? Seems as last night's East was presented by Gaynor and I can't imagine that Gaynor would have to travel to Hull when she would have been in the YTV News Centre all day?
I would be most grateful if anyone could help me please...

I'm pretty certain they're all in Leeds.

Here are Fridays pics from "studio cam".
This concludes the series of "How to Build Your own London Tonight Studio", sorry I mean Calendar studio <insert ITV region here>.

I think the change in format is a good move, whilst the OB's were good, they've done that now, so it will be interesting to see Duncan and Christine sharing the same sofa in the conventional style.

Just noticed something of interest, the set appears to continue further to the left with another blue section which looks very "channel report" ish. Or is this me not knowing Yorkshire programming and part of an exisiting regional programme set eg Soccor Night?

What's under the yellow and blue 'blankets' then? Camera gear or, as they appear to have been untouched all week, some other equipment relevant to the 'special' programme on Monday.
Actually, it seems to be a fantastic prize on offer on Monday's Calendar - £30k's worth of wedding do - trust me, if you're not married this is a very generous and worth having chunk of the folding. I'm not watching though (the dreaded work again. Bugger me, they expect you to actually work for the money they give you........)

The location of Calendar South comes up every few months, can anyone confirm definally for sure? I know they definally did come from Sheffield at one time, although when they stopped (if they have stopped) seems to differ as well.
Back in the Geoff and Christine era 2 looks previous Calendar South seemed to have dedicated presenters, now they vary with those doing East. It was Gaynor most of last week which would lead to saying that they are done from Leeds
