Do the other ITV regions news programmes rotate their presenters daily as often as Calendar?

ITV News London does. You'll either get Nina Hossain, Charlene White or Lucrezia Millarini presenting the main bulletin. In recent months, none of them does a whole week.

Whenever I've watched ITV News West Country, either Jonty or Kylie is off at least once per week, same for Becky Jago on ITV News Anglia who seems to do 3-4 shifts per week with either Victoria Lampard or Tanya Mercer covering.

No South version of Calendar for some reason tonight - but it didn’t seem like the programme was meant to be pan-regional, despite focusing heavily on remembarance. Most the programme had the Leeds backdrop (until changing to the generic one towards the end of the programme, like they usually do) and had no South stories. The weather was the West map too.

EDIT: Seems like something went wrong as there was certainly meant to be a separate South edition judging by this tweet

What is the South Version? Wasn't that Sheffield? Surely Hull and Lincolnshire should be Calendar East?

If I recall, there are some viewers in Sheffield who get Calendar East/Look Levy from Belmont as it's stronger than Emley.

I'm in West Lincolnshire and my aerial is turned to Emley as a number of hills totally destroy any signal from Belmont.

BBC Look North (Leeds & Hull) is a west/east split, with the Hull version covering primarily Lincs, E Yorks, and N-NW bits of Norfolk. But it's also receivable in certain bits and bobs of S Yorks, including Sheffield.

ITV News Calendar is instead a north/south (-ish) split, with the "South" version covering both the same area as the BBC's Hull version of Look North plus also the whole S Yorks/N Derbyshire/N Nottinghamshire area.

Once upon a time the S Yorks etc area was a 3rd Calendar sub-region on its own (Calendar South, from Sheffield), before being wholly merged with the traditional Calendar East area in more recent history to form the current larger "South". Therefore, viewers in e.g. Sheffield or Chesterfield do not get the W&N Yorks version of Calendar.

From a South Yorkshire point of view, most of the county gets the Emley edition with just certain areas of Sheffield not getting a decent signal from there.

Of course, imposing as it is, Emley moor is visible from most of Barnsley and parts of Sheffield.

Itv News London has the dubious luck of 2 National Itv News presenters in Nina and Charlene who cover every news program so perhaps main reason for the rotation

The main reason is that ITV News London uses the same studio as the ITV national news programmes, so they get to have national news presenters do the London news programme too. The smaller desk area in the studio is where London News is done from, opposite the larger national news desk, so London always has access to the national news presenters, since 2004 when ITV London Tonight moved to ITN.

Duncan presented the October edition. Might as well do it from Leeds instead of sending them down to London.

MPs are in London though. Millbank records all Parly programmes for ITV regions so it makes economic sense to do there.

Lord Levy is back doing radio again this Christmas. Down on Radio Lincolnshire on Christmas Eve doing a carols programme at lunchtime. Probably pre-recorded.
