Pics don't look so bad on here, but on the full screen they're awful.

It's one of those syndicated reports which gets shown across the regions.


It's also being shown on Meridian, and probably other regions as well.

The ITV regional news really is dead when has to run packages like this. It's just an advert for an ITV programming strand!

The majority of these syndicated reports are promotions for ITV programmes.

Previous reports shown recently on Meridian include Dancing on Ice and WOS Wrestling, both of which came from other regions.

I remember one for a drama series set in the Channel Islands, filmed on Jersey using a ITV Channel TV reporter, but shown on Tyne Tees of all regions. London and Granada rarely show these syndicated reports as their Ofcom licences stipulate that all content must be from their home region.

There is also a reporter who works across the country. Ashna Hurynag.

They did shoe horn in the fact that Madeley started out at Yorkshire Television, so I bet we made it more relevant than some.
