They forgot to change the background, so we went into Jon’s weather in Leeds, and came out of it by the Humber Bridge.

Looks like there's a pan regional Inside Out across the north of England tonight as all three Inside Out presenters were on News Nationwide on the NC this afternoon from York.

Incidentally, BBC One HD in England is also showing this pan-regional edition at 1930.

As ever, keeping wonderfully on-brand with the trail for it.

I'd assume as it's on BBC One HD, the four regions affected were able to stay with network instead of opting-out?

Something was wrong with the Breakfast update at 6.30 this morning. Sarah Walton read the news from a script, not auto cue, with the London newsroom as a background.

Going by what Walton said, she was actually in London on a BBC News shift and had to rush to one of the CSO studio booths at BH to read LN's bulletin, while the duty newsreader in Hull continued at 6.58.

I suspect those different Astons on the Inside Out special were down to it being live and the kit available. The second example and how it animated on was definitely a variation on the BBC News design, whereas the ones on packages were presumably burnt in using their normal production method.

Quite brave of Look Levy himself to venture out in 'ull to do a feature on how much cash the residents carry around with them (yes really!)

Towards the end some youths on bikes turned up in the background and they obviously made a rude hand gesture or two based on them suddenly becoming a bit of a blur!
