Hull was the first of the N6 inspired regional sets, but of course theirs is used less then the Leeds one which gets redressed a couple of times a week.
The temporary set looks a lot better than the mess they had last time.
Hallelujah; the additions around the screen are going, really made the set cold. But I hope the new set brings an illusion of making the studio larger, which is something IMO has always been wrong with the current building.
I wonder if it'll be something akin to what Midlands Today currently has?
That seems to do a very good job of creating the illusion of space in Brum's "utility room/airing cupboard" excuse for a studio.
Presenting the late bulletin in the style of the 90 second update was a bit odd, with the large angled Look North logo being the backdrop across the majority of the bulletin. I wonder why they didn’t just have a cso shot of the studio backdrop and sit in front of that.
I was going to say that maybe doing it like the 8 was a plan B in case the temporary set up wasn't quite ready, but then I would be surprised if they didn't have the CSO set up ready to go with a suitable background to present Look North from for contingency purposes.
