Yes. Both regions took the programme from Leeds.

Did the special programme go out in the Belmont area this afternoon?

Was the final segment of Look North Leeds pre-recorded when the sofa on a trolley from Sport Relief replaced the normal sofa?

I assume they did the obligatory "When does Harry Gration have his tea? When Khalid Aziz" gag?
Haven't heard that one for ages
Khalid Aziz was my biggest memory of the older Look North, it was nice to see him mentioned.

Lincolnshire should have gone to the East Midlands and Hull remain in a totally Yorkshire region. If only for Belmont.
Most people who live in mid, west, or south Lincs, can, if they vote with their aerials receive East Mids telly from Waltham.
However Humber estuary folk are stuck with Belmont. Emley reception isn't really possible.
That's the same issue with North Norfolk though, who are "Anglian" people and not 'Ull people.

Yea but, they (or some of them) have 'Anglia/BBC East' relays because of that, Kings Lynn, Wells, and Burnham

Seconded. Penny was great at Look East and all the other places she worked. Had the ability to do serious stories with credibility, but also had a sense of humour that was on-show with the lighter stories, which is pretty much vital for a BBC English regional presenter. Much missed on-screen.

Any sign of Penny Bustin? She was always one of my favourites. Superb at Look East.

Would she have done lates from Hull when she was doing that job before Peter Levy moved across for the full launch?

I think the late edition was pan regional still. 'Ull was still just an opt out of the main programme.
