Are they deliberately putting the wrong theme to the wrong titles on purpose?

Why on earth have they wheeled out Paul 'Im the most egotistical cameraman in the world' Berriff. No mention of Christa & as Radiolistener said, why was all the music muddled with the titles?

I’m surprised there wasn’t a montage of birthday wishes from people who couldn’t be there, such as Peter Levy, Mike McCarthy and probably in this era of friendly rivalry, Duncan and Christine.

Any sign of Penny Bustin? She was always one of my favourites. Superb at Look East.

Charlotte Leeming, Nicola Rees and Tanya Arnold were there too, and I think Sue Wilkins.

Also spotted recent newcomer Luxmy Gopal.

Have to say I wasn't expecting something so self indulgent tonight given the special on Sunday, although I daresay it would have been pared back had it not turned out to be a fairly slow news day regionally.

A very nice upbeat special titles mix tonight - can't think of any BBC News theme which has sounded so upbeat and positive since the 2012 Olympics montage!
