Main headline on Levy Live tonight - a Leicester story.

Whilst ignoring the fact that the East Riding has had heavy snow, roads blocked, accidents, snow on beaches etc etc. It even made the national news but no Look Ego is far more interested in prattling on about nonsense non-stories. Apparently, my Auntie Flo has been stuck in her sheltered bungalow all day because of the snow come on Peter you should be appealing to your demographic audience. Very Happy

I thought something was odd when Peter started the programme by calling it "Look North for East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire", I presume he realised the link the story had to the region was rather tenuous.

It was a strange editorial decision to cover the story, its not as if they nicked it from East Midlands Today, they had their own reporter covering it.

A Leicester hospital keeping it's heart ward open.

So worth a mention if it's the nearest one for much of Lincs, but not top story (unless it was a really slow news day in Hull today).

Levy made it clear that the hospital is used by Lincolnshire patients. The story obviously led on EMT with their own Health Correspondent.

A Very revealing episode of Look Levy tonight - the weather with Keeley Donovan coming live from Filey where she was to turn on the Christmas lights.
Unfortunately for the poor folk of East Yorkshire were only allowed the weather forecast, they were not allowed to see the switch on, that happened over on Look Leeds. When Keeley presented the weather there the silly situation was even more obvious on the map with the right-hand side of coastal Yorkshire devoid of towns (they belong to Look Levy in the BBC's mind). I wonder what will it take to give the people of East Yorkshire their local news back?

Umm, well the local Hunmanby relay is fed by Belmont, so the Hull region, though my coverage maps show the town also being on the edge of Emley ( Leeds) and Bilsdale ( Newcastle) coverage, so in short three regions !

Which region do Sky viewers see on channel 101? Is that Hull? Based on that, the BBC think it's Leeds.

Whichever it is, that'd be the official one, even if you can pick up more than one region on Freeview.

Traditionally, in terrestrial terms, Whitby is Newcastle, Brid is Hull and Scarborough/Filey is Leeds.

However as people from across the North visit all of these places Leeds is happy to show packages relating to tourism in all three, and I imagine the same applies to Hull.
