Peter Levy live in Boston tonight outside the White Hart Hotel with a few unsavoury locals shouting in the background and visible during the closing sign off.

Why was Mr Levy outside in Boston (presumably Lincs and not MA Cool ?)

I see !

(Point of order, surely it's the least segregated town ? Max segregation would be where the vote was bang on 50:50 ? )

I'm not sure if the general public would have been as interested as we are, but there was an interview with Bob Warman on Calendar tonight reflecting on it being 40 years since he hosted Good Morning Calendar.

Lots of clips were shown including the funny way they used to lift actual telephones to their ear when talking on the phone on air in those days.

I don't know if it was mentioned on air, as I didn't see tonight's programme, but Harry has tweeted that Lara Rostron is leaving the programme this week. A shame as she's a strong presenter. I wonder who will be taking over?

Over at BBC Yorkshire, Lara Rostron is leaving Look North

I think the most likely option is Amy returning to presenting on Thursdays, and they'll just go back to the old way of having a cover presenter presenting on Fridays.

Michael Billington back today with the GMB headlines, so is that the end of his spell filling in on main programme.

Finally Gaynor is having a night off, and they let Claire Ashforth have a go again alongside John Shires, ps Calendar really need to find a full time GMB Presenter, today we had Michael Billington, so 5 presenters of the early bulletin, why not just give the role to Sally Simpson, and keep Gaynor on the main programme on Friday evenings and whenever Christine is away, as well as the late bulletins .

Look North from Hull failed to opt tonight. Must have had long enough notice as they showed Leeds instead of NC or London, but too short to feature any East Yorkshire or Lincolnshire stories, or even refer to them.

I believe Leeds or Hull opting for both areas is trivial to set up, it happens routinely for Breakfast from Hull and Inside Out (etc) from Leeds. So unless the fault is with the opt out arrangements the News Channel shouldn't go to air. Except at Breakfast I guess as there will be no output from Leeds to fall back on.
