Do you mean Paul Hudson? He usually does his weather forecasts at the Leeds studio I thought. Anyway, the weather forcast never is live on the late news - it was pre-recorded.


Apart from the first forecast from Queen's Court, where Paul did the forecast from the new Hull studios!

Right, let me get this straight. Whilst others have been criticising the programme for it's Hull centric focus and limited quantity of news, you've been it's staunchest defender. So much so, you've resorted to analysing programmes content, and producing statistics on the volume of reports from particular areas.

BUT, when it comes down to it, they remove the weather man banter, and off you go, back to Emley Moor. Your comitment to Hull Look North has been exposed as a sham.

Has it heck - I e-mailed Peter and Paul asking if this is a permanent or temporary change. And if you read my post properly and correctly, I only said I MIGHT defect, I never said I WOULD. So it's NOT a case of 'back I go to Emley Moor', far from it. A possibility is not a definite!

It would appear that the lack of Belmont banter's created an absolute furore and flooded with a deluge of complaints about removal of banter!!! Paul's e-mailed me to say so!!!

I don't think Steve Punter the Belmont Editor has known such a response! Silly boy!

This is a lovely day for People Power! Paul's just told me that Normal Service resumes tonight weather-wise as a result of the sheer floodtide of complaints from viewers!!

Seems like Clare Frisby might be going for good and not just for maternity leave - Paul presented her with a bunch of flowers at the end of today's lunchtime...
