Harry and Paul live from the Great Yorkshire Showground tonight ahead of the show starting tomorrow. I guess they were there tonight instead of Clare being there in breakfast tomorrow, as I doubt Victoria Holland will give it more than a brief mention.
I forgot to mention there was a report from Wesley Smith on Calendar last Friday.
I don't even think Look Hull cover the Lincolnshire Show anymore like they used to, with Peter in a paddock....
You can tell its summer - 4 different presenting duos in 4 days. So far we've had Harry with Nicola, Charlotte and Amanda and now Amanda with Ian. I wonder if we'll see Clare Frisby make a return to the 6:30 programme this summer for the first time in years. It seems more likely given how she now does the lunch shift.
At a guess, Keeley was in Leeds as a back up for the OB failing and probably to prepare the forecast Paul presented. Hull don't normally cover the Great Yorkshire Show so taking a forecast from there may have looked odd.
Although the East coast resorts are technically all in different regions (Scarborough/Filey = Leeds, Brid = Hull, Whitby = Newcastle) there is a lot of overlap

A bit late, but:
Filey = Newcastle
Filey is further south along the coast than Scarborough. Scarborough is very firmly in the LN Leeds patch.
With the right aerial you could get any of three in Filey. Hunmanby (Belmont relay) and Oliver's Mount (Emley relay since 2002 when it switched from Belmont after complaints that the people of Scarborough didn't want Hull news) are strongest, but Bilsdale is possible.
As Filey is part of Scarborough for council purposes, you would expect Leeds to cover matters of relevance to Filey residents, and Leeds and Hull to do stories of interest to tourists.
It is a bit daft, in an ideal world the coastal resorts would be a sub region of their own as they share so much in common.
