Isn't it just - that's a real shame, I quite liked the fast paced nature of the Leeds bulletins.
Looks like nobody has replaced by Clare Frisby as Look North Leeds Breakfast has been axed entirely.
Bulletins now come Hull with Sarah Walton, news content from both regions and a weather map covering both regions
That's a cut they've sneaked in without announcing.

It's an Interesting move but I can't see it saving much money. The breakfast opts are run on a shoestring anyway, and they seem to have created a lunchtime shift for Clare rather than one of the 6.30 presenters doing lunch and the other doing the late.

The bulletins seemed much slower paced and I felt like I was watching another region like when they fail to opt out. There wasn't Clare's usual fast paced trailing of the weather or travel at the start like they used to be.
A trial period, but I'm not sure what results they expect. Viewing figures would stay the same if they broadcast a black screen for 5 mins, so it'll probably be a trial that is declared a success.

There's no sign of complaint on the Look North Facebook page as there often is when unpopular changes happen, which leads me to assume not many people have noticed. Having watched it again it's actually not so bad, though it's still a shame to lose a more localised bulletin.
