From following his Twitter, it looks like whenever Owain does weekends, which seems to be every 2 weeks, he does them from London.

They had problems with the screens last night on Calendar, they all went black towards the end of the programme, before they finally came back into life.

Jon Mitchell is off this week which means it's random forecasters week. Will we have a different person each night?

I always thought it was a great shame that an experienced presenter like Clare was put on the breakfast shift. I seem to recall that prior to her doing breakfasts she used to present the main 6:30 bulletin regularly in the nineties.

Good news for the lunchtime bulletin. Perhaps the odd main edition again. She moved to the Hull opt out as it was then in 2001 when Christa joined. Then in late 2002 when that fully launched with Peter & Helen she moved to Breakfast and lunchtime shift.

And then a couple of years later dropped lunchtimes, which have in recent years had no fixed presenter and could be a different person each day.

Interesting they are having a fixed lunchtime presenter again and it isn't the same person who is doing breakfast or the main programme, this hasn't been the case before.

I've always thought it a shame she's not been on the main programme in so many years, she's a great presenter - in fact I'm surprised she didn't cover Amy's maternity leave. Hopefully this will mean she will start being on the main programme again once in a while.
