They seem to go in phases. A couple of months ago Clare Ashforth seemed to be first choice sub, even ahead of Gaynor, but I don't think she's presented since way before Christmas. Possibly gone back to Granada?
I think Claire joined calendar just a few months before Kate Walby left, so maybe Claire was brought to calendar as temporary cover, as both Rachel Townsend and Lisa Adlam went on maternity at this time too, I also remember Duncan been away for quite a while with John Shires, David Hirst, Jon Hill and even Frazer Maude covering.
Very interesting, just a shame I can't align them. Currently in the gallery, showing various things including Hudson with the green-screen to Hull, and link-up problems with Arnold.

Apparently a power surge has damaged their main screen. I wonder if they will bother to get it will be fixed.
Seems to be back to normal for tonight's 6:30 program.
It re-appeared tonight even though the end shot showed the main screen working.
EDIT: Looking on iPlayer it seems that a large chunk of Yorkshire's Look North, which focused only on the Rotherham abuse scandal, was simulcast on the news channel at 6:30.

Notice that Paul has had to drop his catchy paultheweatherman email to request weather pictures, having instead to use the national Weather Watchers process.
I think there was a slight dig at this by Jon Mitchell the other day, saying there were no websites to have to log in to on here, just a simple email address.
