Look North (ey&l) seems to have updated the images on the titles. Still manages to look like a tacky remake of the North West Tonight's titles though.

Friday's Calendar was probably one of those ones that wins awards next year, live from Kellingley Colliery for the whole programme. They even had Christine Talbot presenting on a Friday!

On Look North, and a big deal was made tonight as Paul Hudson had a new look. He's phased out his shirts for a suit and no tie look!

Look North was also there for the whole programme with Harry and Lara (who also doesn't present on a Friday) and I had same thought about it being an award entry next year!

Calendar ended with some credits of sorts tonight, listing everyone who has worked on the programme in 2015.

Due to weather conditions, Harry Gration presented Look North tonight with Keeley Donovan doing the weather. Whether those presenters were originally scheduled for Boxing Day is unknown. Phil Bodmer was also out reporting for BBC News as a 'news correspondent'

On the radio, Andrew Edwards was drafted in to do a floods special on Radio Leeds from 2-7pm.

Terrible scenes of major flooding on Kirkstall Road. I wonder if this will affect the broadcasting YTV at all? When Border couldn't broadcast back in 2005 they took TTTV. Who would the natural choice be for YTV? Can't imagine Granada. Especially after the North West weren't too pleased a few months ago when Calandar got broadcast!

Isn't ITV's northern playout centre ( owned and operated by Ericsson) sited there, if that's affected that will have a major impact, though Chiswick is the effective DR site

From looking at photos on Twitter, Kirkstall Road itself and the properties at the other side of the road, are flooded and the area further out from Leeds is worse effected, but ITV's buildings are not, they are effectively looking out over a river.

A lucky escape for Yorkshire Television then. South Today, the natural alternative for them would probably have been Tyne Tees.

They won't have to go far to be on location.

If YTV was seriously affected wouldn't the whole of the north of England get Central?

Any news of Radio Aire who are right next to YTV?

This photo shows the Kirkstall Road situation, you can see the flood didn't reach YTV or Radio Aire.

I expect the flooding at the archives building was caused by high amounts of surface water overflowing the drains rather than the actual flood
