My aerial actually points to Emley when it should point to Belmont, but apparently there isn't a clear enough line for it to point clearly to the East, hence the reason.

I wonder what is going on with the ITV Yorkshire weather sponsorship? After being sponsored continuously for 8 months by the same company (Thomson), over the last few weeks it alternates every few days between being sponsorless and having the Thomson sponsor. Are they sponsored by Thomson or what?? Confused

It was the same with us up here in STV-land. Our weather is sponsored by Thomson as well, and for a few months it was there, but recently disappeared but has now came back.

The disappearance on STV happened after the Tunisia terror attack - one would assume there's a connection there.

Granada and Border's Weather was sponsored by Thomas Cook, disappeared for a few weeks and came back, the reason being however was due to them being in the news over the carbon monoxide story.

But here it has kept coming back and disappearing every few days, not simply disappearing altogether for a few weeks.

I must admit that hadn't even crossed my mind. I didn't think they could do that in the middle of a contract though, and Thomson were hardly responsible for the attack.

Does the footage in the advert show Tunisia, perhaps? With the Foreign Office saying to avoid the place, using such footage would be inappropriate.

ITV Yorkshire HD launches next Wednesday according to this...

No indication as to which sub-region it will show yet. Emley would be the obvious one given it has significantly more viewers, although ITV Yorkshire +1 shows Belmont for some reason, so who knows?

But the 26th is Sunday Confused

Has this launched?

Does everyone have the same issue with iPlayer at the moment trying to load BBC Look North shows?

If I try
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/search?q=Look%20North%20(East%20Yorkshire%20and%20Lincolnshire)

They appear but are a day out of sync! I can get to them via the programme page http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b007tp3n/broadcasts/2015/07 but it is a bit of a faff!

A quick check of the Hull bulletin shows tonight's 2225 being streamed from the iPlayer search.
