A really awful presenter doing Look North Leeds this Saturday evening. Doesnt. Seem she knows. How to. Speak a proper. Sentence.

She's cute though.

Not sure of her name, but she's been fairly regular on the Saturday bulletins recently. She's normally okay, but they seemed to be having some technical issues - the autocue failed and she seemed in a bit of a flap after that looking at wrong cameras and mixing up links. They also ended the bulletin about 10-15 seconds early leaving the titles running until the national weather.

She's a regular on lunchtimes as well.

They'd obviously run short as they had a very long hold on the closing titles before they joined the national weather.

She reads the news as if she's reading a bedtime story to a small child.

Watching on iPlayer, Shirley's pace is way too fast which only emphasises her squeaky delivery.

She does sound a bit CBeebies though.

When she was just a reporter there was an air of that as well.

I wonder if Calendar will still be from the newsroom this week?
