Paul Hudson is an ex Met Office forecaster, definitely the former category.

He is still employed by the Met Office rather than the BBC isn't he?

I believe the regional weather presenters/forecasters are employed by the BBC directly these days.

Officially he is the weather presenter and climate correspondent for the BBC employed jointly by BBC Yorks & Lincs

Is the lunchtime Calendar pan-regional? I rarely watch. The weather isn't I could tell and unfortunately North/West weather was played out to East/ south region today

Meant to be separate bulletins but if there is a major story then it tends to be pan-regional. Abit like Calendar albeit with different title sequences and the generic newsroom backdrop.

Jennifer Bartram back with Look North weather tonight. I thought she'd left the BBC at while ago.

She appeared on South East Today just before Christmas.

Look north tweeted the running order again tonight.

One thing it does show up, is that there are actually less stories covered in the main programme than you might think. Tonight was;

Former Look North Levy weather girl Sarah Cruddas is a guest on the Press Preview tonight on Sky News.

They'll have anyone on won't they? I did Levy's travel news on the radio many years ago. Perhaps I should give Sky a call and offer my services.

A large part of tonight's Calendar was taken up by an election debate with young people from the region. It was pre-recorded although I don't know if it was done today or ages ago. Have other ITV regions done this?
