I suspect it's a good thing it's a modular sofa and the affected bit can be moved to the end until it's deep cleaned!

Bit of vinegar, water and a sprayer will sort it, get some of the foam vacuum spray as well...

Do you regularly excrete on your sofa or is it just your goat?

No, just the goat...

I wonder if he will be as giddy as a kipper to be back!

Kay in for Paul tonight on the weather front. Uncle Peter not interested in her at all! No banter very strange laced.

I've never seen this clip before, it's half of a full edition of Calendar from 1994, all three presenters hosting here are still presenting now. Must have been February Half Term when Richard and Christa were on holiday

What is quite odd is that Calendar started at 5:55 in that era as we know, but at this point the bit up to 6:00 was almost a separate programme, I wonder how long that lasted.

Gaynor and Christine's voices have changed a bit in the last 20 years!

Christine using her posh newsreader voice. She must have only just arrived at YTV at that point.

Can you name who the people are doing Calendar east and south in that clip?

Shame it doesn't have the weather at the end, as if Jon Mitchell was doing it it'd be even better. I don't know if Jon Mitchell was around in 1994.

Is that Christa Ackroyd in the other?

A regional newsreader using RP in the 90s. Never!

East presenter is Nick Powell.

Think it was still Bob Rust as the main weather presenter in those days (Jon was the main stand in until Bob left at some point in the mid-90s). Back then it was mostly the continuity announcers that read the weather during the afternoon and weekends.

Looks like Nick Powell for Calendar East.

A great find - shows how powerful ITV regional news was at its peak. Still a worthy product today, don't get me wrong, but in this 90s Calendar the sheer amount of news content before the inevitable fluff just sets it worlds apart.

I believe the woman doing South is Barbara Govan?
