Unusual line ups on Calendar this week. Yesterday was John Shires and Claire Ashforth. Today was Christine Talbot and Frazer Maude.

I'm not sure Frazer ever presented the main Calendar more than once or twice even when he actually properly worked there.

For some reason John Shires presented Calendar on his own tonight, including doing the Monday sports desk. Quite unusual.

Any news on whats happened with Duncan and Christine? They don't seem to present much together lately- merely holidays/annual leave?

Has there ever been a period in the last few years when one of the main presenters on either our regional news programmes hasn't been absent for a long unknown reason. All 4 roles have taken it in turns to be off, if you include Hull there's only Peter Levy who has been permanently there!

I must say I do like John Shires in the main anchor position - he really doesn't care these days!

Even after at least twenty years at Calendar, john Shires always comes across as a nervous wreck on screen to me.

I'm sure Peter Levy has only had one week off this year.

Tonight's Look North (Leeds) will be turning up on the blooper shows, no doubt

Watch for some different camera shots as everyone sits right at the end!

I suspect it's a good thing it's a modular sofa and the affected bit can be moved to the end until it's deep cleaned!

Bit of vinegar, water and a sprayer will sort it, get some of the foam vacuum spray as well...

Do you regularly excrete on your sofa or is it just your goat?

It wasn't the best planned animal appearance on a news programme, I have to say.

The goat should have made an appearance on Made in Leeds and urinated on that god awful sofa.
Steve in Pudsey and bilky asko gave kudos
