Can only be Ian White! It'll be great to see him back. I seem to remember he didn't stop presenting out of choice, it seemed odd as there was no reason for him to leave the sofa.
Keep an eye out for a familiar face returning to the Look North Leeds sofa next week for the first time in three years.

Massive technical problem with Hull yesterday teatime, the picture was pixelating all the way through and it was virtually unwatchable, on Freeview and on cable. It began midway through the national news and ended just after the beginning of the national weather which suggests it was some sort of issue with the opt-out. Presumably they didn't know about it at their end because surely there's no way they'd have opted out if they'd known it was going to look like that.

What a strange day of the week to start again, was she covering the weekend?
Well they axed the role of the late bulletin reader, as many other regions did, bit for some reason that meant never presenting any bulletin at any time ever again.
Lisa Gallagher returned on Friday morning by the way, after about a year off

Kay's having a busy week, covering Radio Manchester's morning show this week and did tonight's Look North. I don't think it's been mentioned here that Keeley is doing the Radio Humberside Saturday morning show for a while.

Good to see Ian White back on the sofa tonight and with Charlotte as well.
The report about Ant & Dec on Calendar was a bit poor tonight, if they are going to do these syndicated reports, they could at least record a few versions mentioning the regions and the arenas they are appearing at in the region, with a few lines from Ant & Dec on how they can't wait to appear in Leeds etc, rather than it being completely generic.

Interesting that Ian returns to the sofa while the Editor (under whose watch he was removed from presenting) is "taking a break", according to his Twitter feed.

It would appear he's only off for a month though, and is back next week.

Yep, just seemed a strange coincidence that it appears that as soon as his back's turned whoever is deputising has reversed an unpopular decision he made.
