HARRY: So from our Ford Escort in Sheffield it's back to Christa.

CHRISTA: Breaking News tonight, Christmas is coming and man in Stourton buys a bag of fruit.

To all forumers, including Katherine - who no doubt I will continue to challenge in the coming months - it's a merry christmas to you all.

Always been meaning to ask you this - is the vast, dramatic and picturesque scenery of your new Scottish abode not enough to tempt you away from your 'oh-so-accurate' scrutinisations of Look North?

You must be as big a fan as me!

So then, let us see… Leeds-centric? Let’s look at the results from the Emley biscuit selection box this lunchtime:

One report (and a Digestive) each for the following: Market Weighton, Halifax, Chesterfield Canal, Bolsover, Wath-upon-Dearne and finally, Leeds!

Sheffield – Two reports (custard cream)

But the location that got all the Bourbons this lunchtime was York, with THREE reports! Tsk... it's SO York-centric isn't it? Viking invasion...

Oh bless, poor Amanda Thingummybob on the Leeds Breakfast bulletin at 7.30 this morning had a full-on coughing fit. She looked rather distressed and you could even see tears in her eyes, the poor love!

I hear he speaks very highly of you. Wink

Actually I worked with him ages ago before he was on TV, and he was a lovely bloke... and a Grade A presentation anorak apparently!

Ooh, and how lovely, 1000 posts! Very Happy

Festive ending to both Look Norths tonight - Leeds had a choir from Wath-upon-Dearne singing carols gospel-style and Hull had a Peter Levy/Helen Fospero O/B from outside Queen's Gardens with what I THINK was a brass band and carol singers.

Cute end graphic on Look North (Yorks/Lincs) too - the usual red end graphic, but with a thick layer of snow on the bottom of it and snowflakes falling.......

Look North Leeds finally got a tree today, with Paul saying jokingly that he prefered the twigs!

I recall this type of thing going on on Breakfast one year as well. Firstly trying to be all Ikea and going with twigs and then after complaints finally getting a tree.

Also yes I also noticed Amanda Harper practically crying on this morning's 7.27am Crying or Very sad

Maybe with the progressive passing of Advent, they're building up to the big day incrementally; twigs first, then tree, then festive graphic.....
