There's only 4 shows now it seems. The one on Christmas Eve at 11.05am has been replaced by a repeat of M62 Motorway Memories.

Seeing Gaynor Barnes at 5.30pm is just like the old days of Tonight. All we needed was the big chevron ident and Bob Preedy announcing it at the start!

Tonight's Calendar is very seasonal. Christine's OB is coming live from Susan Brookes' house with some seasonal cookery (we haven't seen her for a while, I thought she'd been replaced by the Flying Cook). Also there was Ian Clayton (again just like the old days of Tonight). This is apprantly a series that will build up to Thursday's Calendar Christmas Special.

Shame that BBC1 Yorkshire didn't introduce the news bulletins today with the new Christmas pudding ident. As far as I know, BBC1 Midlands and BBC1 South have a regional variation of this ident - so why can't we?
have either look norths even got xmas trees yet?

There's one on Look North Hull, although its tucked away in the corner and hardly seen. There's 'something' behind the sofa on Look North Leeds, not sure what but its definally a far way away from last year's grotto style soft set.

Although the regional output is in decline, you obviously don't watch much, how many programmes are there that are entirely 100% Leeds centric ?

I stand corrected! At long last, BBC1 Yorkshire have given us a variation of this year's Christmas pudding ident. I was feeling left out because the other regions in the UK had seen one yesterday. It debuted today at 1:00PM

Sounds about right, although its usually the other way round with digital not being effected.

Clare's new minimalist breakfast travel strap seems to have taken on a bit of a festive look this week. I don't know why they've dropped the old system though with the weather at the side, probably because its just one more thing to go wrong.

Look North Leeds had further reaction to David Blunkett's resignation, and Harry Gration was in Sheffield gauging that reaction with a live O/B. Christa Ackroyd remained in the Leeds studio with more news stories.

HARRY: So from our Ford Escort in Sheffield it's back to Christa.

CHRISTA: Breaking News tonight, Christmas is coming and man in Stourton buys a bag of fruit.

To all forumers, including Katherine - who no doubt I will continue to challenge in the coming months - it's a merry christmas to you all.
