First time I've seen Caroline Bilton present since she has been back from maternity leave. Have missed her friendly but authoritative style. Amy Cold could learn from that!

In other news, anyone see the mare of a bulletin Calendar had on Sunday afternoon? We got the clock at the start which started to count down but cut to John Shires who raced through the 5 minute bulletin. Then he had to pad painfully at the end to the weather, but then that was cut off

The uncomfortable 'no goodbye' at the end of Calendar is continuing, with one presenter just sitting mute at the end. You could see Christine felt daft at the end tonight.

Amanda Harper hosting Look North tonight, possibly the first time ever, although Amanda & Charlotte present every bulletin going, they never usually get to do the main programme.

She presented a few months back just the once, but I can't remember her doing it any other time before that. I'm surprised they use her and Charlotte before Nicola Rees anyway.

On another note - Amy Garcia still isn't back at Look North. Presumably she's now staying at South Today? She's become one of the more prominent presenters there.

From her recent tweets she has said she'll return to Look North when she returns from maternity leave.

Just switched over to Look North at 6.30, they were discussing news about Gateshead, then the show finished. I take it the National was rather short tonight then?

Yes, only 25 minutes of the 6 O'Clock and 5 minutes of Look North also covering the north east and Cumbria.

Blimey, don't give ITV ideas otherwise it will be North East, Cumbria, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and North Norfolk TONIGHT!

It's a shame that Leeds didn't do a local junction into and out of the One Show so they could cover up network's promotion for A Question of Sport which they're opting out of for a Bradford City documentary. Or at least have got network to to add a token "except for viewers in Yorkshire".

Didn't English regions used to 'blanket' trails that were incorrect for their exceptional opts? (I.e. replace them with a trail FOR the opt!)

Looks like Christa Ackroyd is making her debut acting - she's seen in the trailer for The Syndicate.

Apart from her and 'arry on Top Gear a few years back.
