Well presumably it's currently in a temporary location.

Why would they have a brand new newswall, set up in a temporary location, which looks very much like their newsroom, in a gap which appears to be perfectly sized?

While we may see something similar on monday, the chances of that being that particular set of monitors, I would estimate at approximately zero.

It's a pity that's not the new set. Works for me!

It reminds me of 5 News back in 1997 - with the desk perching and newsroom backdrop.

They seemed to suggest that that is definitely the news wall, as the three of them were rehearsing in front of it for that shot.

Very much so. The bright colours and the whites.

Late weather with Jon Mitchell recorded earlier on the roof. I guess that suggests that the green screen is in the main studio rather than a cupboard somewhere

The green screen is to one side of the studio and has been since the set came in I think.

I done a bit of digging, and I personally, don't believe it is part of the new set as the videowall appears to have been a part of the newsroom since at least October 2012 as this photo shows:


Turns out the image was bigger than i thought so it's now behind a spoiler as it distorts the page

It will probably be like the news wall at Meridian, three large monitors based in the newsroom. They use it to show view facebook comments and it looks nice in the background.
