Obsessive springs to mind.......now where is Mick Douglas when you need him.

As for the petty jibe at the production of Calendar, it was 1968 for god's sake and they didn't actually have the studios ready for opening day, and a good part of it burnt down just prior to it going on air. The BBC had the luxury of having the shiny new box some months in advance.

Pitthy, obnoxious and extreme are some words currently on my lips, now will somebody give Katherine a slap. Oh by the way, apparently, a film is due to be released about your syndrome Katherine - but even he couldn't actually find out what it was.

To the rest of the forum, it's greetings from the Hudster's new home in Scotland and thanks to Sky I can still take part in this exceedingly compact forum.

Dear Esther Rantzen, I wish to nominate Huddy for 'Prince Charming 2004'.....

Don't listen to them. They're idiots. They'd rather spend their time having stupid, unprovoked and hurtful jibes at you because of your (granted, sometimes scarily large) interest in the programme. Guys, lay off. Katherine hasn't done anything to you, so why must you make the forum a misery for her? Just because you feel you can get away with it? CHILDREN.

The baby news is wonderful news for P and N, congratulations. This is the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire pres. thread after all, and if a major story like a plane crash broke, I'm sure it would be on the main ITN (In The News) page.

So, you'd like me to remove the un-removable? I have it FOR LIFE, it's a PERMANENT part of me, I can't leave it at the forum door as I walk in! What the hell do you think Asperger's Syndrome is? Something as curable as tonsillitis? If you can't cope with it then that's your problem. If you think Asperger's Syndrome is disposable at the command of others then my GOD, you need an autism reality check!

Calendar have introduced a Christmas Tree today. No sign of one on Look North yet, also they won't have that cosy soft area to sit in this year will they. LN Hull on the other hand should get its first Christmas tree. They didn't have any room last year!

When I say those things about them, I do so totally respecting their position as a Hudson replacement from time to time, as well as respecting Paul's right to take time off. Now Lisa Gallagher's come out of her shell a bit I don't mind at all when she replaces Paul! It's just a bit of cheeky drama queen angst.......

When I had the e-mail read out that requested Tom Schafernaker wear a Paul Hudson facemask that was again tongue-in-cheek with some intentional drama queen mixed in. I knew Peter might use Paul's absence as an opportunity to get a few jabs in at Paul while he was away, so thought I'd even the score a bit! There is never any malicious intent behind any of my e-mails no matter how hard others might want to think there is!

Maybe you should - you're upsetting not just me, but other people with Asperger's syndrome who use this forum. I think you're forgetting that people of all ages and abilities use this place, and in recognition of that, allowances HAVE to be made.

Is there any chance of stopping this pathetic and tedious bickering before this thread gets closed?

Anyway, if I'm allowed to make reference to something relevant to the thread... I see that Look North (Leeds) Breakfast bulletins have a new-look graphics system. Claire now appears full-screen, but with a transparent red band across the bottom of the screen featuring the headlines, travel and weather, but the weather symbols at the side of the screen have been ditched. It's obviously supposed to fit in with Breakfast's new-ish national graphics as during the weather the clock almost matches the national one - although the spacing's not quite right.

They've also obviously never heard of 4:3 safe areas, as even watching in 14:9 this morning some of the text was going off the edge of the screen.

In private messaging where other people with Asperger's have said to me that you and Huddy have upset them and other people with the condition.

To those that want an end to the bickering - believe me, I want the bickering to end, what I cannot abide is patchy Moderator presence which exacerbates the duration of arguments on here.

News just in - some of you might like to tune in to Rod Whiting's programme on Radio Lincolnshire between 16:50 and 17:00 on Friday........ I'll be on it live, in the studio with Rod, swapping banter with a certain brightly-dressed weatherman!

Can't wait.......

How's this happened then, any particular reason?

A couple of people have donated CDs to Pilgrim Radio and I'll be collecting them. Rod suggested making it memorable by swapping banter with Paul on-air!

I'm already grinning like a mad idiot.....

Depends who's posting..... it's something relevant to a presenter on yorks/Lincs regional telly so it's at least semi-appropriate... and I'm not one to pass on a little bit of advertising now and again.... would hate interested people to miss it!

I really do think this thread has run its natural cause now - it's virtually impossible to asimilate information on the goings-on of regional TV in Yorkshire & Lincolnshire.

I can't believe that nearly every page has some kind of Katherine vs Whoever comment, whether it's her defending herself or people saying none-too-kind things...

May I suggest we carry on in that new "Yorkshire" thread which was accidentally created?
